About The Nest
The Griffins’ Nest is Eric Hamber’s student-led, independent newspaper. Publishing all year round, The Nest covers topics relevant to students and staff in an informative, impartial, and professional manner.
Our team of student journalists work to research, write, and edit articles on a wide variety of topics and issues for Hamber’s newspaper of record for distribution it to the student body and community. We take pride in our history of exceptional work by our reporters.
The Nest is a nationally recognized paper whose work has been applauded by members of the Canadian Association of Journalists, Student Press Law Center, Canadian Youth Journalism Project, J-Source, British Columbia Civil Liberties Association, Canadian University Press, and Ryerson University Centre for Free Expression.
