Fort Nelson: The Powerline That Set A Town Ablaze
On May 10, Fort Nelson, a town in northeast BC, was put in danger by the Parker Lake wildfire. Over 4,700 residents were ordered to evacuate the area for more than two weeks before the fire was brought under control.

Wildfires in Maui
On Aug. 7-8, a wildfire burned down parts of Maui and the historical town of Lahaina. It was considered to be the largest fire in the United States in the past century, and led to 97 confirmed deaths and 31 missing people.
