New National School Food Program Announced
On Apr. 1, the federal government announced their plans for a National School Food Program with the hope of supplying meals to a target of 400,000 children across Canada.

However, there currently is no way for students to know which options are available that day without reaching the front of the line and entering the food service.
The Griff Re-opens (Briefly)
The Griff, Eric Hamber’s quintessential school store, made its long-awaited return after months of extensive planning. Shut down in 2020, the Griff had been shuttered for nearly three years. This year, however, the Griff came back to Hamber with a two-week pop-up shop at the kiosk that ran three days a week, from Jan. 16 to 27.
